For those who weren't there for the Veedub 2009 comp, Brandan Soros took home 2nd place.....(although we know he should have got 1st). Brandan threw down tricks in his run that most would consider their best tricks they've ever done, one time. Brandan also threw down in the best trick comps and won himself some tasty cash. Congrats lil' Tom Cruise, keep rippin' Vic a new asshole.

Some very sad news from the Concyse team front. Alex Eddy was airlifted to the Victoria hospital after being hit by a car. He has a fractured neck, 4 chipped vertebrae, broken shoulder, and 4 broken ribs. An update from his mother this morning says Eddy has now come down with pneumonia over the last night, but is staying strong!!! Eddy is a fighter for all that have seen him on his board!!! So PLEASE everyone send your prayers and an encouraging get well comment for Eddy!!!!!! Stay strong boy!!!

Brad Ormiston (victoria) proved himself to be the Lord Of The Lines. Coming in a very close second was Matt Gravel (duncan), followed by Jesse Oien (nanaimo) in third. Brad will move on to the finals in Vancouver on August 2nd. Eric Timmins took first in the best trick comp, with Matt Gravel grabbed second.

.....there was too much chaos to take any decent photos, so here's a pic of Brad skating into 3rd place at the Gordon Head comp a few weeks ago.

As most of you know, Lil' Jason Riach moved back to cowtown alberta. So we thought it would be perfect to add Jesse Oien to the DNA roster of rippers. Jesse has been ripping with our crew for quite a few months now, and he's always the one to wake up first in the morning and hassle everyone to get out and skate....and he's always the last one out shredding the streets at night getting photos and filming. Jesse is an all around rad guy and is a perfect fit on the team.....profile will be up this week.
