....do it! Nanaimo needs more girl skateboarders. I know of 3. Don't be shy to skate in front of the guys, everybody had to learn at some point.
chikskater: the mystery skater... you and your friend should come out and have fun, even if you aren't better than those girls on the video. Meh, its supposed to be about having fun not whose the best anyway. I'm a girl, I like to skate, I don't win awards for it but that's fine with me. [I am a little envious of their skills, but there's always going to be someone better than you and that's life.] Come out and get involved in the scene... in my opinion that's one of the best ways to learn. You'll be more motivated to try things after seeing what can be done.
yeah we are..
were looking at some kickass boards at DNA, but for now were gonna borrow some for practice. Practice makes perfect in the long run, and we will be awesome eventually. I know most of the guys here in nanaimo and one day they'll be surprized at what we can do. Girls are just as good, :P
dunno. skateboarding seems to be really hard on my uterus. maybe i'm doing something wrong.
